ABOUT US
Who Are We?
Established in early 2016 by Thilo Moorvan, Malvern Learning Centre is a HOMESCHOOL & AFTERSCHOOL TUITION CENTRE based in Queensburgh, Durban. We provide tutoring across all academic levels and skills development programmes for adults. Our teaching follows the CAPS and IEB Curricula and is supported by a wide range of past exam papers to strengthen understanding and exam-readiness. We cater for learners from Grades R-12 and cover all subjects. We are proud of our strong academic record.

OUR APPROACH
Pathway Toward the National Senior Certificate (NSC)
To earn the NSC, the qualification required for university entrance in South Africa, learners follow the same CAPS curriculum as all other South African schools, ensuring full alignment with national standards.
University-Ready in South Africa
The NSC remains the preferred qualification for local university admission. Learners are prepared to meet the requirements for competitive programs, including access to NSFAS funding and bursary opportunities.
Structured Academic Terms
Learning follows the structured terms and examination schedule of the South African school year, providing consistency and helping learners stay on track, while giving families a familiar academic rhythm.
